今年是大选年，最迟联邦大选将在10月举行，各个党派正在磨刀霍霍备战。对于竞选来说，Canada Day(国庆日)当然是一个难得的好机会。这不，多伦多市中心，University-Rosedale选区，NDP国会议员候选人Jennifer Hollett邀来其党魁Tom Muclair共度国庆，在本地有名的餐厅Little Italy与党员及义工同庆，难得建立良好关系的机会。
Jennifer Hollett, NDP Leader Tom Mulcair and guests enjoyed a special Canada Day lunch on the patio of Cafe Diplomatico, a local hotspot in Little Italy, in University-Rosedale.They were joined by local Councillors Mike Layton and Joe Cressy, as well as former Councillor Joe Pantalone.
Today all Canadians are celebrating our country’s 148th birthday, both honouring our history and looking to the future with optimism. We live in a welcoming and diverse country – by working together we can continue to build a fairer, more prosperous Canada for all.
